This is a true democratic socialist party, advocating left-wing electoral change, not
revolution. They are strongly anti-communist. Brown is personally anti-abortion, although his party is officially
pro-choice. The candidate's Website also declares him to support
- Vastly greater environmental protections
- Immediate withdrawal of all US armed forces from outside the border of the United States, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Germany and Japan
- A cut-off of all US aid to Israel
- US demands for immediate Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank and Gaza
- The abolition of all American intelligence agencies
- A 50% cut in the US military budget
- The end the NATO and other military alliances
- Modification of the UN charter to eliminate the veto provisions in the Security Council
- International labor standards
